The objective of this course, presented in two separate lectures, is to present concepts, strategies, and decision making tools for advancing toward sustainable waste management. Drawing from a wide variety of academic disciplines and real life examples, this course provides a fast-paced tour of current thinking and actual accomplishments in the application of sustainability principles to waste management.
Part 2 focuses on analytical tools of increasing sophistication for planning successful projects based on the rational application of sustainability principles.
Upon completion of this course, the attendee will be able to:

- Apply sustainability options and methods from several in-depth case studies based on interviews with leading practitioners
